Young At Heart Musical Theatre For Seniors Inc.
Young at Heart Musical Theatre was formally know as Atlantic
SMILE Theatre, created by Catherine O'Brien and Hank Stinson.
It was modeled after the SMILE theatre in Ontario and after 3
successful seasons has matured into an independent PEI theatre.
Our purpose is to enrich the lives of seniors especially those in
long term care facilities.
Our mission is to produce professional theatre designed to
stimulate seniors minds, spirits and imaginations by engaging the
skills of professional actors, stage managers, writers, designers,
composers and choreographers.
We have an objective to provide Canadian musicals to isolated
seniors, to produce shows that seniors can relate to, and to meet
with the audience after each performance by enlisting the talents
of professionals.
